Inert Gas Fire Suppression
FireCease’s Inert Gas Systems provide clean, efficient, and safe fire suppression using natural gases like Argon, Nitrogen, and CO₂. Ideal for areas where water-based suppression could damage assets.
Inert gas fire suppression is environmentally safe with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) and a global warming potential close to zero (GWP = 0). It is non-toxic and does not break down into harmful by-products during a fire. Being non-corrosive and electrically non-conductive, it is perfectly suited for protecting sensitive electronic equipment, even in low-temperature environments.
FireCease systems are engineered to meet specific application needs. They include:

| Remarks |
IG01 has a heavier density than air (1.38). Thus, Argon is well-suited for areas with raised floors and low upper space insulation. |
IG100 has a similar density to air (0.97). This allows Nitrogen to disperse optimally and maintain long-term concentration. |
As a mixed gas, IG55 provides variable density and effective dispersion throughout the protected space. | IG541, as a mixed gas, offers balanced density, enabling full coverage of the protected area. |
These systems utilize 100% Argon as the extinguishing agent, ideal for applications requiring strict environmental consideration.
Its high density, Argon quickly concentrates in the lower parts of a protected area, making it especially suitable for Class A, B, and C hazards, particularly in environments with raised floors or low-lying equipment.
About IG01 – Argon Extinguishing Agent:
Argon is a naturally occurring inert gas extracted from the atmosphere. It is environmentally friendly and ideal for sensitive applications. Additionally, it can be used for certain Class D materials, such as titanium and magnesium dust.
Because it is used in its pure form, Argon does not require mixing or blending, simplifying the refilling process, regardless of geographic location.
This system uses a 50/50 blend of Argon and Nitrogen, making it one of the most effective and popular choices for fire suppression due to the optimal distribution and performance of the agent.
About IG55 – Argon and Nitrogen Extinguishing Agents:
Both gases are naturally present in the atmosphere and are completely non-toxic and environmentally safe. Their firefighting capabilities have been independently verified.
The balanced mixture ensures even distribution and density throughout the protected volume. These gases are:
Their combined properties enable the agent to evenly disperse across the hazard area.
This solution is a unique blend of 40% Argon, 52% Nitrogen, and 8% CO₂, ensuring enhanced performance and safety in oxygen-reduced environments.
About IG541 – Argon, Nitrogen, and CO₂:
The small addition of CO₂ improves breathing conditions in a suppressed oxygen atmosphere, making this mixture distinct among inert gas systems.
The diverse gas properties provide optimized dispersion and complete hazard coverage. These agents:
These systems use 100% Nitrogen as the extinguishing agent, offering an ecological and effective fire suppression solution.
About IG100 – Nitrogen Extinguishing Agent:
Nitrogen closely matches the density of air, ensuring excellent dispersion and long-lasting concentration within the protected space. It is non-toxic and does not irritate skin or eyes.
Obtained by air distillation, Nitrogen is a zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and zero GWP (Global Warming Potential) gas. Like Argon, it requires no blending, which facilitates easy refilling worldwide.
